Pima Community College Journalism: Press Release Exercise

Pima Community College’s West Campus is hosting their 17th annual flower show this coming October. The show will begin on Thursday, Oct. 15 and Friday, Oct. 16th. It will kick off at 8am Thursday morning at the Student Center, until 9pm that night; resuming again Friday morning at 8am, and closing at 5pm that night.

The show had been awarded a National Garden Association award in the years past. “We are just so excited about this show!” says Ginny Greenthumb, president of the Gardening Club at PCC. The two-day event will contain multiple floral arrangements, Hundreds of entries awaiting to be judged, as well as an educational display of hand-painted pots, showing the system and technique of painting them.

This show will be of no cost, but the Gardening Club will be accepting donations, and encourages everyone to come.
